Onesie Gowns

Here is my first attempt at copying some baby gowns made from onesies that I saw in a magazine. They were quick and easy, but I'm worried they will fit more like straight-jackets than gowns---especially the stripey one. I'll report later, after they've been used once or twice by the recipient.

So who were the happy recipients?

I just found your blog on Just Us Quilters. I wanted to say all of your work is lovely. Your quilts are beautiful. I especially love the red scrappy and the one with the 1930's fabric. Cannot wait to see more of your work. The onesie gowns are adorable. I made a few when my girl was a baby. I loved them. They are easy gifts for baby showers.

No way. They are totally cute. I had some "sacks" like that I got from Gap when Tyler was a baby. I loved it when he had his casts and corrective shoes for his clubfoot. They worked perfect! They will totally sell :)

Alice, I love those! Gowns are my favorite things for newborns and those are so much cuter than most.

Very cute! I loved gowns for my babies but because they weren't that cute I only used them at night. These would only be worn during the day!
